I Finally Met "Joe"!
It’s been more than two years since I posted Joe’s menu on line. I did it as a convenience for me, and all of you other Joes’ fans who wanted to order great Italian fare without having to remember where you put Joe’s “to-go” menu.
Since launching the web site, I’ve never heard from the owner.
Well after two years, I finally met him working the cash register. He’s a terrific guy who moved to Texas from New York over 30 years ago . . . but lives in a time warp. That’s great when it comes to delicious homemade pasta, hand tossed pizza, garlic bread, Philly cheese steak subs, etc. But, not so good when it comes to technology.
The owner doesn’t own a computer. (He drives a 1966 Buick LeSabre, if that give you any idea.) I told him that 99% of Southlake residents have a smart phone, computer, tablet, or TV with a web browser, and thousands of you visit www.JoesPizzaPastaSubs.com every month. After our brief conversation, maybe, just maybe, it’s beginning to sink in that having a web site makes sense.
Now, you’re probably thinking this is some kind of crazy, off-the-wall advertising stunt. I guess in a way, it is. However, I’ve never charged Joe’s anything, and I’m tired of paying to keep www.JoesPizzaPastaSubs.com up and running, unless Joe’s customers find it useful.
To find out, I’ve decided to ask you for a favor.
The next time you call in an order to Joe’s, please tell whoever answers the phone that you want them to keep the web site. If enough people do it, I’ll maintain it. If not . . . well, who knows.

I’ll post the results before I do anything. Thanks for your support!Menu posted courtesy of Mark Logan, DynamicMotorsports.com, Shelby-Cars.com, ClassicMustang.com, and PlugInMotorwerks.com
